WELCOME TO GREEN IOWA MEDICAL CANNABIS CLINIC
Iowa's experts in Cannabis Medicine
Green Iowa Medical Cannabis Clinic is a pioneer of Iowa Cannabis Medicine with the mission to help patients access the Iowa Medical Cannabidiol Program and access to cannabis for qualified medical conditions. We have faith in cannabis's therapeutic effects and ability to alleviate a number of medication conditions. We practice in an effort to eliminate the fear and anxiety and stress associated with accessing the Iowa Medical Cannabidiol Program.
Telehealth Evaluation - 15 minutes - $100 - Our Nurse Practitioner will perform a Telehealth evaluation for your qualified condition to determine if you meet the requirements for the Iowa Cannabidiol Program and if the program is right and safe for you as a patient. If appropriate, the Nurse Practitioner will provide you with the paperwork for you to apply to the Iowa Cannabidiol Program.
Cannabis Counseling - 15 minutes - $20 - Discuss via a Telehealth meeting with our Nurse Practitioner to discuss anything other than an evaluation for the cannabidiol program. This includes, but is not limited to, dosing of cannabis, requesting an increase in maximum THC allowance, and discussing if the cannabidiol program is right for you. If after the counseling you want to be evaluated for the cannabidiol program, you will have to then schedule a Telehealth Evaluation.

GREEN IOWA MEDIA CENTER
Green Iowa is a pioneer in the Iowa healthcare community with a goal to provide qualified patients with access to medical cannabis for relief of approved health issues. We strive to counsel our patients with expertise in a field where most healthcare professionals and providers lack education. We aim to counsel our patients on all aspects of medical cannabis use and safety. At Green Iowa, we advocate for our patients and prospective patients. We hope to help support and campaign for expansion of Iowa's cannabis program.
IOWA'S MEDICAL CANNABIS/CANNABINOID PROGRAM QUALIFYING CONDITIONS
Currently, Iowa has limited accepted medical conditions for which medical cannabis is a legal treatment. Unfortunately, there is no discretion allowed to medical providers currently. Even if a provider believes cannabis will effectively and safety treat a condition, it cannot be legally used unless the condition is on the list of qualifying conditions.
The current qualifying conditions for the medical cannabis program are as follows:
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Cancer – if the illness or its treatment produces one or more of the following: severe or chronic pain, nausea or severe vomiting, cachexia or severe wasting.
Multiple Sclerosis with severe and persistent muscle spasms
AIDS or HIV (as defined in Iowa Code, section 141A.1)
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
- Any terminal illness with a probable life expectancy of under one year – if the illness or its treatment produces one or more of the following: severe or chronic pain, nausea or severe vomiting, cachexia or severe wasting
